Printing Techniques:

Color is just the beginning.
‘Customize That’ offers a range of advanced screen-printing techniques to help you achieve the exact look and texture you envision. Explore your options below to ensure your final product delivers the impact you’re aiming for.

Screen Print Techniques

  • Underlay
A white base layer is printed beneath the design to enhance brightness and vibrancy, especially on dark garments. This technique ensures more accurate PMS color matching and bold results.
  • No Underlay
This method skips the white base, resulting in a more muted appearance. Colors may appear duller and less accurate to PMS values, particularly on darker fabrics.
  • Vintage
A soft, worn-in look created by reducing ink flow and omitting the underlay. The result is a thin, faded print that adds a nostalgic, lived-in feel.
  • Distressing
An aged, textured effect created through graphic design rather than printing technique. This style mimics wear and tear for a retro or rugged aesthetic.
